Nottingham-based rock band Tindersticks will perform 2 shows at Babylon on 20th and 21st September in celebration of the release of the 8th studio album, 'Falling Down a Mountain' (2010).

 

 

Tindersticks was formed in 1991 and have managed to skillfully blend lounge jazz, and soul music styles using a wide variety of instruments such as Rhodes piano, glockenspiel, vibraphone, violin, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, bassoon, Hammond organ, and more.

 

 

The band have also produced soundtracks for four films - 'Nenette et Boni', 'Trouble Every Day', '35 Shots of Rum' and 'White Material'.
