This project will relate Istanbul through the eyes of children and through art. In the project scope, children living in Kucukcekmece district of Istanbul will get together with children from neighboring countries. Through art, residents and non-residents of Istanbul will interpret the city from different perspectives.

The Project aims at bringing together children from 10 different neighboring countries to enable them to produce artworks. Works produced by the children will be exhibited in four different districts of the city, as well as in two different countries.

The residents of the districts will play a key role in the implementation of the project. As in other fields, children are the future suppliers and demanders in culture and art. Enabling them to live and produce artwork together with their peers from other countries will have a positive influence on their development. Moreover, the project will strengthen dialogues with neighboring countries. At the end of the project the works will be exhibited between July and December 2010.
