Bringing together artists from across the world, Cihangir Insomnia is a musical theatre show about the residents of a ramshackle house in Istanbul's Tarlabasi district, the insomnia of secret lovers, the mysterious death of a young actor, and being a stranger in a foreign country.

Cihangir Insomnia was developed by the Austrian group SUPER16, founded by Stefan Bohun (director) and Johannes Bohun (member of STOMP), and unites international artists with performers from the renowned stage stow STOMP.

Within the scope of the Cihangir Insomnia project, long-time Stomp- members got together with children and youngsters from Tarlabasi and Dolapdere at the Tarlabasi Society Center and also met with convicted and arrested women at Bakirköy Correctional Faciity for Women.

Cihangir Insomnia will run every evening at 8pm from 23rd - 27th September 2010 at Garajistanbul
