Isik University is a private university located in Istanbul, Turkey. The university is a part of the Feyziye Schools Foundation which was established in Thessaloniki in 1885.Established in 1996, Isik University is the pride of the 122-year old Feyziye Mektepleri Vakfi foundation. The foundation has always had a deeply rooted educational tradition, which under the name of Feyz-i Sibyan Mektebi, on December 14, 1885 in Salonika.
