Running from 14th May - 5th November 2010, Breaking the Stereotype has been organised as part of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture. The project consists of a collection of workshops, film screenings and art exhibitions which are all aimed at destroying the stereotypes and prejudices associated with both Eastern and Western cultures. Istanbul's geographic and cultural position on the two continents of Europe and Asia is seen as a symbolic bridge between the two cultures.   read more »
