In the new season, Monday means theatre!  Every Monday evening on the stage of Salon will be the Krek Theatre Company.  It was founded in 1998 by Berkun Oya, who graduated from the MSU Conservatory – Department of Performing Arts in the same year.  Berkun Oya, the writer and director of Bomba [Bomb] remained general director of Krek while writing and directing plays such as Adamlar [Men], Pasta ve Telas [Cake and Rush], Op’la Zo’nun Drami [Drama of Op and Zo] and Yangin Duasi [Fire Prayer].  Meanwhile he has also taken steps in the fields of cinema and television.  He achieved the honour of best director in the Strasburg International Film Festival in 2008 for his first movie “Iyi Seneler – Londra” [Happy New Year – London], which was originally released in 2007.  Oya has since been working on a second movie called “Iyi Seneler – Boldavin” [Happy New Year – Boldavin], but still has time for the new plays he is writing and directing himself.  In the meantime, you have the opportunity to watch Bomba on the stage of Salon twice each Monday evening during the month of October, and watch in wonder, not knowing what Krek will do next.

If you have 15 minutes, be there when the Bomba explodes! The Krek Theatre Company presents a brand new experience to the audience.
