The Notwist is Salon’s second guest in October with the Morr Music Label.  During their twenty year journey from hardcore punk and metal towards electronic music they have produced fantastic albums for the music industry such as Shrink and Neon Golden.  The Notwist, whose members have collaborated with bands such as Lali Puna, Console, Ms John Soda, and 13 & God, have endorsed many worthwhile projects resulting in breathtakingly beautiful music.  Their latest album, The Devil, You + Me, was released in 2008.  The allure of the sweet vocals and electric tones of Markus Acher has been known to bring about a passion in his audience for his songs.  We suggest for those who have been missing this music to quickly pick up a copy of the single Blank Air which was composed for a movie in 2010.  For those who would like to meet the band, visit the band’s website notwist.net, for an adventure game-like universe including sound clips from the band’s songs.
