The Japan Media Arts Festival has been running since 1997 and combines Art, Entertainment, Animation and Manga in one of Istanbul's most unusual arts festivals.

This year, the Festival focuses on two specific aspects of media arts: the Creative Mind and the Narrative Mind and explores these two aspects through award-winning works from past exhibitions of the Japan Media Arts Festival as well as recent works.

The Japan Media Arts Festival is being held at Pera Museum in Istanbul and will run from 6th August - 3rd October 2010. The festival is complemented by artist presentations, panel discussions and film screenings
