02 Sep 2010 Tuyap Fair Convention & Congress CenterGOLDISTANBUL fairs organised twice every year by The Jewellery Association of Istanbul, which has been established under the leadership of The New Development Group in which leading institutions of Turkish Jewellery Sector, and non-governmental organisations act jointly, and Tüyap Fairs Inc. offers an event, which should not be missed, between February 18-21 and September 2-5, 2010 at Tüyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center– Istanbul, Turkey, for its visitors.
GOLDISTANBUL fairs that TÜYAP will organise by adding its 30 years of experience, determination and effort, will provide strength to the Turkish jewellery sector that has developed design skills, production capacity and quality, in the world markets.
GOLDISTANBUL fairs will serve as a strong, impartial, competitive, modern platform for the Turkish jewellery sector as well as for producers, wholesalers and participant companies operating in different areas of the sector, who have power in the world market, to exhibit their collections reflecting their high production powers and design skills in an exhibition area that is easy to visit and where the products can be recognised, and are distinguishable.
Istanbul, having a geographical advantage at the intersection point between Asia and Europe, is an important centre aiming 1.5 billion people at a flight distance of 3 hours, who consider gold as an investment vehicle, who are closely interested in jewellery products.
We are proud to host such a big event once again. Our promotion activities abroad are being carried out by taking into consideration the priorities of the target area of the jewellery sector. To this aim, the target countries and markets where conduct activities are Russia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Poland, Romania, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, Jordan, Georgia and Turkmenistan.
The rejuvenation of the domestic market as well as close geographical distances will provide contribution to the liveliness of our fair, and the business volume, and help development of the possibilities and capabilities of the sector. In Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Denizli, Diyarbakir, Elazig, Izmir, K. Maras, Mersin, Samsun, Trabzon, Kocaeli where domestic retail sales points are most intensely located, and Alanya, Antakya, Erzurum, Iskenderun, Kilis, Kütahya, Sanliurfa, Adapazari, Aydin where the retail sales points are developing, operations aimed at the sector are being conducted. AS a result of the promotion activities, the expectations of approximately 45,000 close retails sales points will be satisfied at these fairs
