Karagoz, who eats all the toffee apples he is supposed to sell and turns into a toffee apple himself, goes through various troubles and certainly, Hacivat, his oldest friend, helps him out.  This is a magnificent children’s play which both entertains and educates with its attractive structure.

Kâtibim Karagoz House, directed by Hasan Hüseyin Karabag, represents our country in various international festivals throughout the world and introduces Karagoz to the world.  The plays of the group joining our festival with two Karagoz plays – one for the children and one for the adults – are a great opportunity to discover one of the most precious elements of our culture.
