We, as the Association of Chemists’ organised the The First Congress of Cosmetics in Antalya between 18 and 20 February in 2010 last year and now we are planning to organise a second one in Antalya again between the dates 17 and 19 February in 2012, next year. The first congress’ organisation managed to create bonds between the very different contributors of the sector by 32 different universities, 110 firms, 4 non-governmental organizations and a participation of 350 persons. It is also a very hopeful situation for the future of the congress and it’s aim to turn into a traditional one , since all the participants and contributors of the congress are on the same opinion about the importance of this kind of an organization for the sector. Paying attention to the assessments made by the attendants; the positive contributions of the congregations to the sector in our country and abroad; studies held in the universities and the latest trends of the cosmetics worldwide during The first Cosmetics Congress encouraged us to organise a new one.
